::::I agree with Subtank. The original logo was more fitting than the current one, not only because it doesn't look as awkward, but also because the Mark VI from Halo 3 seems to be the most definitive appearance of the Chief so far. It's been stated that the H4 armor in the promotional material not the final one, so it would be too early to base our logo on it. --Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 11:09, 19 December 2011 (EST) |

Hey guys, it's Sona here. Recently I came across a rather interesting screenshot of someone's designed Halo: Reach font. I don't have the actual font, unfortunately, but I have the entire alphabet in a picture. So I decided to try creating a logo for Halopedia and see how it goes, seeing as the one being used right now is using an image-edited version of the word "Halopedia" (very poorly done too; I would know since I was the one who made it and showed it to Subtank a long time ago). If you like it, feel free to use it for the logo :)

Logo
The only thing I don't like about the logo is the fact that it's not what the armor is going to look like in Halo 4... it's basically just concept art. :( pestilence Phil, pestilence! 00:43, 16 December 2011 (EST)
- This was used in a non-live action trailer, so I don't think the changes will be that big. But do you think the text at least is alright? Template:Sonasig 01:01, 16 December 2011 (EST)
That wasn't the armor used in the trailer. This is, and it looks very different. I think it's very likely to change, seeing as 343 later unveiled this, which looks even more different. Until we know for sure what the armor will look like, I don't think we should use this logo. The text is pretty cool, though. Tuckerscreator(stalk) 01:13, 16 December 2011 (EST)
A few things Sona. 1)That font you used in the above images is pretty blurry and low quality. 2)The current logo doesn't use the Reach font, it uses the font present in the Halo 4 trailer which has also appeared on the covers for Halo CEA and the new novels. The fonts have subtle differences. 3)You're not the one who made the current logo, that was me. Please don't take credit for the work of others.--Soul reaper 02:30, 16 December 2011 (EST)
- I deliberately blurred the edges of the font so it wouldn't look choppy. Doesn't mean it's low quality, but still looks nice when it's not displayed in full size.
- Halo 4 comes after Halo: Reach, so that's not really a problem.
- Did you make the text? Then I guess I must have made one too, almost a year ago. I clearly remember taking the letters "Halo" and shifting it around to make "pedia", because I showed it to Subtank. She didn't think it would be usable though.
- Anything else? Template:Sonasig 18:01, 16 December 2011 (EST)
- We just changed the logo a little over a month ago. I think it would be better to wait until Halo 4 actually comes out to change the logo.--Commander Spartacus (Tenth Roman Battalion) 11:40, 17 December 2011 (EST)
- Or change it to the Halo 3 version since it looks better. ;) — subtank 17:21, 17 December 2011 (EST)
