The United Nations Space Command is the human military organization. Summary

The United Nations Space Command is the human military organization. With its headquarters at the planet Reach, the UNSC Navy and Marine corps are the protection and communication for some 200 colonized human worlds. Known military units within the UNSC include the Marines and the Orbital Drop Shock Troopers (because of their reckless nature, also known as the Helljumpers). Also within the UNSC is the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI), which is responsible for the SPARTAN II Project. The UNSC is currently waging war with The Covenant.

There are several breakaway factions of the UNSC as well, uncluding the Eridanus Rebels.
