Pipit was an Unggoy with the title of Deacon. He was taken to the Rubble along with other Unggoy by the Kig-yar traders. The ship he was serving on was captured by a group of Sangheili Zealots under the command of Thel 'Vadamee, and he was forced to heed their orders. He may have cared deeply for the Unggoy on the ship as he defended them when two of them helped Reth escape explaining how they were easily confused in a battle of superiors.[1]
Trivia
- He and Dadab are the only known named Grunt Deacons.
- Pipit's name is, like some Grunt-related names, a Tagalog reference; a "pipit" is a slang term for a small bird that makes a small chirping sound.
List of appearances
