Battle of Reach
Rho 'Barutamee was the Shipmaster of the CSO-class supercarrier Long Night of Solace by the year 2552. That year, the Long Night of Solace was made the flagship of the Fleet of Valiant Prudence, the task force sent to Reach ahead of the main Covenant invasion fleet, with 'Barutamee the overall commander of this first assault.[1]
'Barutamee's vessel partook in the Battle at Szurdok Ridge on the surface of Reach, where UNSC Army forces accompanied by the SPARTAN-IIIs of Noble Team exposed the Long Night of Solace through the destruction of Spire One, a communications tower that had been cloaking the vessel.[2] 'Barutamee's vessels smashed the UNSC Army garrisons below before retreating to Reach's orbit.
