Habitat El Ciudad[Note 1] was a habitat in the Rubble. Based in the Inner Rubble, El Cuidad was a residential area and had several indoor docks; Ignatio Delgado lived there and occasionally docked the freighter Distancia there.[1] The area also had several abandoned warehouses that were owned by Peter Bonifacio. A gunfight broke out here in 2535 when Delgado refused to hand over important data to Bonifacio. The habitat, together with all the others habitats of the Rubble safe for Habitat Exodus, was destroyed during the bombing of Metisette.
Trivia
El Ciudad is Spanish for The City.

Note
- ^ The habitat is referred to as "Habitat El Cuidad" in Halo: The Cole Protocol. However, this is clearly either a typographical error or an oversight, as "cuidad" is the second-person plural imperative form of the verb cuidar, meaning "to watch over". "Ciudad" means "city".
