Uhhm, what is a jugus? --Amaya Hikaru 12:32, April 27, 2010 (UTC) l
- It's (a part of) my online alias, just something I made up. It's not supposed to mean anything in particular, although it seems to be a surname somewhere as well. Not mine, anyways. --Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 12:37, April 27, 2010 (UTC)
Oh I see yeah, I probably coulda' been more creative with mine- I just used my name. LOL--Amaya Hikaru 08:58, April 28, 2010 (UTC)

Protect page
Ohai, mighty admin! :D How are things?
Could you please protect this page from editing for a while? If you check the history, you'll see what the problem is. Thanks. - JEA13 [iTalk] 07:04, June 7, 2010 (UTC)
The Covenant
Sorry, is that not how you operate on this wiki? On the wiki that I am a dedicated user on, we like to incluse the 's in the links if that makes sense? {{SUBST:User:SSJ4 Lewich/sig2}} 15:21, June 13, 2010 (UTC)
- Your edit wasn't grammatically correct. The sentence was talking about two Phantoms, in plural, while the apostrophe you added would indicate a possessive. That's not the case here.--Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 15:25, June 13, 2010 (UTC)
Oh whoops. I did not mean to add the apostrophe, so would just have putting the s into the link be acceptable? Sorry about that {{SUBST:User:SSJ4 Lewich/sig2}} 15:33, June 13, 2010 (UTC)
- I don't see how that would be necessary; the s is already there. The whole word will still function as a link even if the "s" is not included inside the link itself. --Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 15:38, June 13, 2010 (UTC)
"hint"
Just so you know... they've been hinting at a sequel since a ComicCon in 2008 - the one with the Halo Wars guys and that guy that wrote The Cole Protocol. Eric was there taking questions, and he said that he'd love to finish off that story. Bungie was busy in 2009, but they never denounced a sequel. Perhaps they wanted to make sure there weren't too many projects going at once, or it would turn into the Star Wars expanded universe,-- Forerunner 09:32, July 2, 2010 (UTC)
- That looks suitable enough for an article. Though, we'll have to make sure "Untitled Ghosts of Onyx Sequel" doesn't get created until we get a full confirmation. I don't think we should go like "Halo: Reach" and "Halo Blue" (ODST) and be up before it's announced.-- Forerunner 09:37, July 2, 2010 (UTC)
- Alternatively, we could create it now and just protect it. Anyway, it seems that they have been waiting for a time when there aren't multiple projects going on. Reach and the trilogy are okay, seeing as how they don't conflict with the Onyx storyline in anyway.-- Forerunner 09:41, July 2, 2010 (UTC)
Halopedia
Hey there. I posted this on CommanderTony's page also. I am currently an Administrator on the Dragon Ball Wiki and was wondering, how you have configured all of these additional features, the customisation on the user pages. Like the Gifts, Xbox Live Gamertag, Add as Friend, Points and Rank System, Awards, overall look of user pages, Board, Statistics, Quiz's etc etc. Also, what is large interactive box that appears on this page? I would quite like to know about this. I'd really appreciate any information you can give me, if its not to much trouble. Many thanks. {{SUBST:User:SSJ4 Lewich/sig2}}
Hey
Hey, I just wanted to say that I'm coming back to this wikia after leaving to go to the *shudders* Call of Duty wikia, but I have seen the light and found out that it is a terrible, unorganised mess. They're trying to run a professional wikia and you have Admins raging at people, blogs blocking the Recent Changes meaning important things don't get through and basically, its just full of 12 year old CoD noobs. I hope you look foward to having me back on the team! Thanks. :) Helljumper U T C
Vandalism
An Unregistered Contributor, 98.225.188.147 Keeps vandalizing. Please deal with him. Que Sera, Sera 22:08, August 16, 2010 (UTC)
- Sorry 'bout that. Most revisions I simply skim, and if they seem to restate already mentioned info/redundant/whatever, I revert them. Not time-consuming, but more likely to be wrong. But thanks for the heads up; I'll keep an eye out for those. =) [Sometimes, it's all about the glory.] [Put your boot up enough alien backside and the corps will pin rows of medals on your chest.][Bad ass, unlocked.]
Moving help
Hi, Jugus,
There are two redirects that need to be reversed. They are:
- Kestrel → Kestrel (Ship) (doesn't need the "(ship)" because there's only one other "Kestrel" page)
- Araqiel → Araquiel (correct spelling given in FS is "Araqiel")
I'm not sure I can move these, b/c there's already a page at the other end. Can you delete Kestrel and Araqiel and move the latter two pages to those titles?
And is there any other way I can reverse redirects like this in the future, or does it always require an admin to delete the page?

Question
Should the appearances template go above or below the "Sources" section in an article? --Turn out the Lights, on your way Out 23:23, September 1, 2010 (UTC)
- I will assume the obvious and fix appearances sections underneath the sources. --Turn out the Lights, on your way Out 23:43, September 1, 2010 (UTC)
Spoilers question
Hi, Jugus,
I just had a quick question regarding the Spoilers Policy for Reach. Well, two actually:
1) When using the {{HideSpoiler}} template (after the game's release), should the template encompass the entire article (i.e. including infoboxes, etc.) or should it just encompass the text?
2) Does it matter if the title in itself is a spoiler? For example, let's say I created an article called "The Battle of Installation 00" a day after the release of Halo 3. According to the Spoilers Policy, the {{HideSpoilers}} template should solve any issues w/ someone who hasn't bought the game, but in this case, the title itself could ruin the game for them.
Thanks,
// ŝтŕγκęŕ [ COM | LOG/M | LOG/S ] 01:07, September 2, 2010 (UTC)
You missed something....
I suppose you uploaded issue #2 of Boot Camp? Anyway, the issue #2 cover is the scene from Halo: The Fall of Reach when Samuel pretends to have a hurt knee. Can you please like, cut a pic of that and put it in Samuel-034's infobox? Lt. Commander SPARTAN-A110 | [ COM/S ] [ LOG/S ]
Sorry about the mess
Emote! XP
Yeah, I think it's time to clarify that not all ships in the Halo Universe are starships. Thus, I think this is the time to fix this error that was created back in 2007. The next plan would be to implement Template:Ship Class Infobox into Class-specific vessels (i.e. CCS-class Battlecruiser, UNSC frigate). This does not include individual ships (i.e. UNSC Forward Unto Dawn). This is simply to eliminate redundancy due to overuse of similar field and information. Just bear with me on this one. :P - 5əb'7aŋk(7alk) 16:32, 23 November 2010 (EST)
- Yeah, thanks for clearing that up. I was just confused since we already had a category for ships and because I thought the distinction between ocean-borne or exoatmospheric vessels would warrant them two distinct categories - although having them all in one category makes sense considering the tiny number of conventional ships in the Halo universe.
- As for the emote, thought that occasion was special enough to use one. --Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 16:36, 23 November 2010 (EST)
- Just wanted to let you know that I've updated the Vehicle Infobox. It now has its own unique design (or colours). The field parameters have been updated to accommodate vehicle-specific info. :) - 5əb'7aŋk(7alk) 18:11, 23 November 2010 (EST)
Hey, I see what you mean, that Plasma turrets fire plasma torpedoes, but if you go on the CCS-class Battlecruiser page it mentions the armaments of having 'plasma torpedo launchers'. This is actually an error - you are right - plasma turrets are capable of firing other things. Therefore I think page that makes reference to a specific 'plasma torpedo launcher' should be edited to plasma turrets. Agreed? AlexB1001 11:44, 7 December 2010 (EST)
Re:Unused files
I admittedly didn't think this problem would pop up. I instructed Datadeleter and several other users to mark those files for deletion so I could mop them up with Nicbot to make the job easier (its impossible to delete all those files with a human admin). As it is I never realised some files were used in templates or why they're showing up as unused when they're not, so I'll take the blame for that one. In the meantime I advise the editors to continue with care, while is there some way we list out all of the images that are actually in-use? - File:Major.png Nìcmávr (Tálk) 13:49, 19 December 2010 (EST)
- Could we make a template, say something similar to the "hang on" template on Wikipedia, so that it says "This image, while unused, is <good-quality/is already being used/should be used in an article>". Then, we could make a category similar to Special:Wantedpages that would show images that needed to be added into articles. The template could also be added onto the Era images, etc, so they don't get deleted. / / STRYKER [ COM | LOG/M | LOG/S | AAU/HUM ] 14:29, 19 December 2010 (EST)
Viery
While I understand what you were doing on the Battle of Viery article, I would like to bring a similar event to your attention.
During the Battle of Hat Yai, Covenant ships exited Slipspace once their assistance was required.
Based on this, we can assume that these ships were at the very least nearby when the battle commenced, which may suggest that the Covenant may keep some ships within slipspace to avoid advertising their true size.
It is also interesting to note that during the Battle of Onyx, the Covenant reinforcements arrive just before the UNSC defeats them.
Similarly, the Covenant supercarrier Long Night of Solace during the Fall of Reach only made itself known once the UNSC began to cut into the Covenant outposts. Again in that battle, it was not until the supercarrier was destroyed and its accompanying corvette sent into slipstream space that the fleet made itself known. In the corvette's control room, you can see symbols over the planet Reach - I believe these to represent the co-ordinates that each ship is preparing to jump to.
Would this be considered a common-enough Covenant action to be considered a genuine military strategy of theirs?-- Forerunner 09:27, 20 December 2010 (EST)
- Furthermore, I'd like to take note that the commanding officer does not need to be actually present to coordinate the battle. Field Marshall Sir Douglas Haig was miles away from the front of the Great War when conducting battle plans, for instance. Being the commanding officer of the Fleet of Particular Justice, it becomes clear that Thel would have authority over their actions. Furthermore, being a "supreme commander", he would have authority over both naval and armed forces during the campaign.-- Forerunner 09:38, 20 December 2010 (EST)
Cryptum info
Hi, Jugus. A few things about Cryptum:
- I saw that you added Halo: The Flood to the appearances in the ancilla article. Can you give me a page reference/quote please? I'm just kind of curious.
- I don't have access to the chapter 1 excerpt, so can you add information from ch. 1 to the Florian and Hamanune articles (I'm assuming they're explained earlier in the book)?
Thanks. / / STRYKER [ COM | LOG/M | LOG/S | AAU/HUM ] 20:11, 22 December 2010 (EST)
SPARTAN teams
During field operations, the SPARTAN-IIs available separate into teams with the designations of "red" and "blue". However, the roster is not organised, and neither is the size. Basically, a team consists of SPARTANs who aren't already chosen arbitrarily to be deployed with another team. While "Red" was on Arcadia, "Blue" was elsewhere - the names only appear to be in use to differentiate SPARTANs by mission. Therefore, should we really refer to Red and Blue teams as though they had a concistent existence, or as a number of units inheriting the same designation? Any team could be set up and called "Red".-- Forerunner 10:29, 27 December 2010 (EST)
Mind lending me a hand?
Hey.
I recently needed to preform a major edit for the assassination page, so I used a draft under my user page for the edit, as I have never made such a large one.
Mind checking it out for any mistakes I may have made before I update the main one?

Colonies
Thanks for expressing your views. From what I've gathered from the novels and encyclopædia, all (or most) colonies are independent, though the UE appears to have a lot of influence over them. I believe the UNSC to be under UN juristiction as opposed to solely Earth's, with the "United Earth Space Corps" that Johnson joined being the site of Earth-based units.I chose "human" over "UNSC colonies" because of this along with other reasons like the ancient civilisation and insurrectionist colonies like Eridanus Secundus.-- Forerunner 09:34, 19 January 2011 (EST)
- I personally doubt that the UNSC would surrender control after the war - they'd have to take part in the rebuilding, and urban warzones would need to be under martial law to prevent robbery. Eventually, they should of course surrender control back to the governments, as the threat of insurrectionist activity only intensified upon UNSC interference; that fear returned in the post-war period.-- Forerunner 10:16, 19 January 2011 (EST)
Amended format for citation
Forgive my inability to detect this issue. I noticed that the citation format has been rather odd because of the 2010 edition.
- Old citation format for double version
'''[[Halo: The Fall of Reach]]''', ''page 54'', ''page 71-72 2010 edition''
- New citation format
'''[[Halo: The Fall of Reach]]''', ''page 54''; '''(2010)''', ''page 71-72''
The semi-colon would act as a divider between the two, making sure that readers would be able to distinguish between the old and new editions. :) — subtank 09:00, 15 February 2011 (EST)
- It's nice to have a proper standard for this, thanks for the heads-up. --Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 09:01, 15 February 2011 (EST)
Titanium-A Battleplate
It's true that names of elements are written in low-cases (as chemistry student I know that all well), but Titanium-A is a brandname, and as such it should be written with a capital. Well, this is my opinion. ;-) Wilc0 File:Laptopsticker-nederlandse-vlag.jpg (Talk page) 11:34, 26 May 2011 (EDT)
Re: war
My apologies - I assumed that it was relating to human-San 'Shyuum affairs - it's not too far from a page that predicts the collapse of the military alliance soon after the Forerunner's war, had there been no conflict - it was judged that humans were so bigoted that they would turn on their own allies. What about the main article - it says "wars" as opposed to "war".-- Forerunner 09:44, 29 May 2011 (EDT)
