Atmosphere Pits are Covenant structures filled with methane to allow Grunt to have a space to live without being hooked up to the air tanks on their suits. Unlike the similar Methane Tank, the Atmosphere Pit is a dome-shaped tent made from a flimsy white material, allowing the pit to be easily erected and collapsed.[1]
