===Mark VII===
===Mark VII===
It is possible and very likely that the MJOLNIR armor in Halo 3 is a Mark VII. There are noticeble aesthetic differences epecially in the gloves. Also the HUD is noticebly different from [[Halo 2]] although this may be due to the fact they are to different games. Bungie has an obsession with the number 7 and this could be another 7 reference. The Mark VII also appears to be an almost brown color (rather than olive drab) in some Halo 3 media, although this is mainly when the Master Chief is in dry, desert-like regions and it could be due to dust or lighting (see image at top of page). The Chief does reach [[Io Station]] before the Halo 3, and he arrives at a UNSC base early in the game allowing for plenty of time to receive an upgrade.
