:A magnetic field is like a coin, in that you can't get a one sided coin. A magnetic field has a heads and a tails side, called north and south repectively. A manetic field does not have a surface/boundary - it extends ad infinitum, decreasing exponetialy in stength as a function of distance. Apologies, instead of "Composed of pure photons" I should have used "Comprised solely of photons. And after reading your last post I do concede defeat, with one last statement. I had assumed that the Forerunners had made discoveries in monopolarity as suggested by string theory, and that the weapon may have alternately cycled its magnetic fields in order to make the most efficient use of its plasma. Well played, and what fun! Giddy in defeat- --[[User talk:Bruce2401|Bruce2401]] 22:40, 25 April 2011 (EDT) | |||
