==Trivia==
*As stated in Halo: Cryptum, one of the seven surviving rings from the original 12 Halo rings that played a role in the assault by Mendicant bias on the Forerunner capitol suffered from severe surface damage, and had to be repaired.  It could be that this installation's odd surface features as seen on the hologram in The Citadel could have resulted from such damage and attempted repair.

Installation 07, also known as Zeta Halo, is one of the seven Halo rings.

On November 3, 2552, during the Battle of Installation 05, a signal was sent to this Halo from Installation 05, putting the former - as well as the entire array - on standby mode. Installation 07 was then ready to fire on demand.[1] Later the same year, during the Battle of Installation 00, Installation 00 was still on standby. However, SPARTAN John-117 deactivated the Halo array before it could be fired, rendering Installation 07 inert.[2]
