The ONI orbital facility is a UNSC Naval Intelligence platform in orbit over Earth. During the Battle of Earth in November 2552, the defected Huragok containing the Vergil subroutine of the Superintendent was brought to the facility for interrogation. Edward Buck and his squad guarded the Huragok as Sergeant Major Avery Johnson arrived to question the creature.[1]
Trivia
- In Halo 3: ODST, the interior of the station uses the level geometry from the Halo 3 multiplayer map Orbital. However, the two are separate locations, as Orbital is set on a civilian space station atop the Quito Space Tether.
