United Nations Colonial Advisers were United Nations military units or officers deployed in various colonies of the Solar System as advisers in local military training, or logistical activities. An instance of UN Colonial Adviser activity can be found on the Jovian Moon of Io, a unit that saw the first firefight of the Interplanetary War once the Frieden secessionist movement declared war against the UN in 2160.[1]
