This glitch can be performed during the beach sequence of the level from inside the [[Sabre Program Launch/Research Range|Sabre launch facility]]. First you need to make sure that you are able to get out of the level once you disable the [[Seraph]]. The simplest method is to use the [[Armor Lock]] and [[Pelican]] method[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QEyOqid6SoA&feature=related]. All you need to do is shoot an [[EMP]] shot from a [[Plasma Pistol]] at a Seraph as it flies by, then go find it. It’ll probably land a good distance out of the map, but you shouldn’t have any trouble getting to it if you know what you’re doing. You can do this on either the first or second part of the map.

If you hit it with an EMP blast late in it’s flight path, it’ll begin to shrink and near it’s deload sequence. Once it shrinks, so does the trigger to enter it. It takes a little finessing to get in it at this point, but if you throw a grenade along side of it, and run under it as it rolls, or just place it leaning against a wall, you should be able to get into it without any trouble.

The Pilotable Seraph is a glitch in the Halo: Reach campaign level Long Night of Solace.[1] It allows a player to commandeer a Seraph by exiting the level's boundaries and stunning a Seraph with a Plasma Pistol EMP.
