Commander is a commissioned officer rank of the UNSC Navy, equal in rank to Lieutenant Colonel in the UNSC Marine Corps, UNSC Air Force, and UNSC Army.[1]
Commanders typically serve as the Executive Officer (XO) (second-in-command) of a UNSC warship; however, they may also command their own warship.
