Template:Ratings Asceticism is a form and variation of Forerunner worship among the Covenant way of creed, involving humbling oneself before Forerunner technologies. It is followed by both the Sangheili and many San 'Shyuum in diversities of Covenant Ages and by notable individuals, including one of the former-Minister of Fortitudes clerics.
In the multi-player character-customization mode of the video game Halo 3, one of the Sangheili Armor Permutation sets is known as "Ascetic Armor".
