It begins with the Halo: Reach short intense percussion, followed by a slow tribal percussion. The first musical segment from Halo 3's Farthest Outpost enters, and A Walk in the Woods cuts in after it ends. The chorus slowly leads the music into Halo 2's Delta Halo Suite's segment Wage while the tribal percussion continues. The "Arbiter's Theme" (Weight of Failure from Halo 2s Prologue) continues the chorus and the extract Overcome from Halo 3's Behold a Pale Horse cuts in after the crescendo. The chorus slowly fades out as the tribal percussion slows down and both finally stops as an eerie sound comes in and immediately fades out, ending the soundtrack.
