Biography
Conscription
Ben was conscripted into the SPARTAN-II Program and trained on the Human fortress world of Reach. Ben survived the augmentation process, but was not mentioned until the Fall of Reach.
Fall of Reach

Ben was aboard the UNSC Pillar of Autumn when the Fall of Reach began. Selected to Red Team under Frederic-104's command to defend the MAC generators, Ben was designated Red Fifteen. On the way to the surface their Pelican, Bravo-001, was shot down and Red Team was forced to jump.
Ben survived the fall (unlike four others, including Malcolm-059) and on the advance to the generators, came across a single Covenant soldier, and neutralized the hostile. Later, Red Fifteen was assigned with the rest of Team Beta to defend the generators. Ben was presumably killed when three Covenant Cruisers used plasma bombardment to destroy the generators Team Beta was defending.
