They were conscripted into the Spartan-II Program by Dr. Halsey in 2517. Brought to Reach, they were trained by Déjà, an AI, and Chief Petty Officer Franklin Mendez, along with other Spartans. They survived the augmentation process, but was not mentioned until the Battle of Reach.
