Scyllion was the capital city of Charybdis IX, until it was glassed by the Covenant during the Battle of Charybdis IX. In 2535, there were riots due to the shortage of food because of the large amounts of refugees, and partly because of the Insurrectionists.[1] During the raids, a Covenant fleet attacked, and being defended by only 3 destroyers the planet was quickly glassed by the Covenant. The citizens of Scyllion shot RPGs at the ship in a futile attempt to stop them, which simply bounced off of the Covenant shields.
