Template:Planet Viperidae was a gas giant in the Psi Serpentis System.[1]
History
Viperidae was the location of Admiral Preston Cole's "Last Stand." The Battlegroup India engaged an massive Covenant armada in orbit. The planet was destroyed by the hundred Shiva warheads Cole launched into it's core, briefly igniting into a brown dwarf star. The nuclear cacophony that followed obliterated the entire Covenant fleet, well over 200 ships, and led to the presumed death of Preston Cole.
