Parisa was a childhood friend of the boy who would grow up to become Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy John-117.
Biography
Even into her adult lift, Parisa kept with her a picture of herself and John on a beach at Lake Gusev on their homeworld of the now glassed Eridanus II; taken some two weeks before Dr. Halsey abducted John, as a lucky charm. She believed, like many others, that John had died not very long after the picture was taken. In fact, he was replaced with a flash clone to hide his disappearence.
As complex organs like the brain[notes 1] cannot properly be flash cloned, and the products are left having no mental development[notes 2] and many die of eventual degredation to the organ, leading to their deaths.
She had stated that after John saved her life from walking out into the lake too far, he promised to marry her and keep her safe.[1]
