"Alright men! Let's welcome our Chief Petty Officer with some backup!"
— Howser

Howser[1] was a Sergeant of the UNSC Marine Corps who fought and led men during the Harvest Campaign.

Biography

Harvest Campaign

Sometime during the five years it took to liberate Harvest from the Covenant, Howser and his fellow Marines were pinned down by massing Covenant forces after he gave the order to retreat from their previous location, but Daisy-023 soon came to support them. Once the Covenant forces were eliminated from the nearby area, Gamma Team was able to establish radio contact with Ralph-303. The Team then traversed to a Covenant-occupied landing-zone to be evacuated by a Pelican. Howser scouts the area for a Warthog, so they could reach the landing zone as quickly as possible. With Daisy-023 on the M41, Howser drove towards the LZ only to be stopped by an Elite with a Plasma Grenade.

Death

Although the Warthog flipped over, Daisy-023 still managed to pull a wounded Howser out of the wreckage towards the Pelican. Another Elite, wielding a Needler, fatally wounded Daisy-023 while pushing Howser out of the way. He made it to the Pelican, but Ralph refused to leave without her. Due to both Ralph and Howser's actions to save Daisy-023, the Pelican was destroyed by Fuel Rod Guns and killed the Marines within the blast-radius.
