A First Aid station, as seen in Halo 3: ODST.

A First Aid Station, or a Medical Kiosk, is a usable stationary terminal in Halo 3: ODST that dispenses Optican Health Packs. A normal First Aid station contains two health pack sockets. Like most of New Mombasa's infrastructure, these stations are controlled by the city's urban infrastructure AI, the Superintendent.[1]

Gameplay

Since ODST and Marine personnel lack any form of energy shielding, health is much more important, and thus the Medical Kiosk is a vital part of gameplay. It works in a similar fashion as the Health Packs from the first Halo game, Halo: Combat Evolved, like that used by the previously playable character John-117.

Trivia

  • The achievement "Heal Up" is acquired by using one of these for the first time in Halo 3: ODST.
  • Some of the Medical Kiosks are empty, and hold Audio Logs instead. In this case, the Health Packs that should be in the kiosk are on the ground next to it.
