The Unnamed Covenant Destroyer was a warship in the Covenant Navy, which took part in the Battle of the Apex. .

History

This Destroyer took part in the Battle of the Apex, it was sent to intercept the Spirit of Fire, engaging the Human ship almost immediately upon the it's entrance to the Shield World. Despite attempted manoeuvres the two ships collided, causing significant damage to the Spirit, including destroying a portion of it's supply of Pods, while minimal damage was done to the Destroyer, due in part to the shield. The two ships soon opened fire on each other, the Destroyer quickly destroying many of the Spirit of Fire's deck guns. It soon sent out Banshees and Spirit dropships to continue the assault and destroy the Spirit of Fire's damaged Power Core. However, the Spirit of Fire, despite heavy assault, managed to repair it's Power Core and escape. It is unknown what happened to the ship after this engagement, it may have been destroyed when the Shield World was destroyed, though it may be more likely it was used to retrieve the Prophet of Regret and ferry him to High Charity.
