Real time stategy, or RTS, is a term used to describe games in which you command armies whilst in combat, rather than be in control of a single character. Halo Wars is set to be a real time strategy game.
RTS games often involve vechicles, and a system where you can build stuctures. Another common feature are heroes, individuals who count as one unit who have unique abilities.
