Halo: Reach (also known as "Halo 4" [1]) is a first-person shooter video game set in the Halo universe, developed by Bungie, LLC., set on the Human world of Reach [2][3]. It was announced by Joe Staten at Microsoft's E3 2009 Media Briefing, and is set for a Fall 2010 release [4]. Bungie President Harold Ryan commented that Reach may include Project Natal features [5].
An invite to the Multiplayer Beta for Halo: Reach is included with Halo 3: ODST. According to the card that comes with ODST, the Beta will be released in Spring 2010.

- The Announcement Trailer is exactly 1:17 minutes long, possibly a reference to Master Chief Petty Officer John-117.
- In an interview with GameTrailers TV, Joseph Staten confirmed that SPARTAN's will be featured in the game [6].
- In an interview with Worthplaying, Brian Jarrard hinted that Gunnery Sergeant Edward Buck, one of the main characters in Halo 3: ODST, may be featured as one of the characters in the game. In that same interview, he also confirmed that Reach was a prequel to the events in Halo: Combat Evolved. [7]
- Halo 3: ODST ships with a Halo: Reach Beta invitation and it says you MUST have Xbox Live to play it.
