In Halo 3, there is a glitch where you can make your weapons higher and cause them to be in-animate. First, use the cease fire technique to lower your weapon by pressing every button combo simultaneously: Right bumper, Left bumper, Left Stick button, A, D-pad Down and get in a vehicle. When you get out of a vehicle, your weapon will be higher than usual and it will not move (as if it's frozen on your screen) and remain inanimate until you perform an action (melee, firing, etc). This glitch is incredibly easy if you know how to lower your weapon. This cannot be performed on Xbox Live as the lower weapons action is disabled for online play.

The glitch causes the player's weapons to be frozen at the highest point of being drawn, and the player does not appear to breathe -- the weapons do not move to reflect the player's breath. Any action that ends the Cease-fire trick ends the glitch.
