Rocket Race is a new [[Social Match]] [[Gametype]] in [[Halo 3]] on [[Xbox Live's Matchmaking]]. It involves using mongooses or warthogs to reach a way point before other teams. It is based on a Gametype called [[Race]] that was only featured in [[Halo:Combat Evolved]].

The game includes shooting rockets at other vehicles and trying to get them off course. You are not able to kill people with the rockets or destroy the vehicles. At the start of the game a VIP will be determined. The VIP has to be the one who crosses the way point. If the VIP is killed by getting assassinated then the teammate becomes the next VIP. The VIP can not drive the vehicle and must ride in the back.
