The Assault Cannon is a Covenant weapon. Its ammunition comes in the form of incendiary gel tubes which can be fired as bolts or a continuous stream[1]. It was used to arm the Mgalekgolo sentries of the Forerunner Dreadnought.
It is located on the right arm of the Mgalekgolo. It is bright green
Notes
- The Assault Cannon is most likely the Fuel Rod Gun and also explains the difference in firing style between the fuel rod gun of the Hunters in Halo: Combat Evolved(a kind of Energy, sparky bolt) and those of the Hunters in Halo 2(a continous beam) and Halo 3(a mix of both).
