The Assault Cannon is a Covenant weapon. Its ammunition comes in the form of incendiary gel tubes and can be fired as bolts or in a continuous stream[1]. It was used to arm the Mgalekgolo sentries of the Dreadnought.
Notes
- The Assault Cannon is most likely the Fuel Rod Gun and also explains the difference in firing style between the fuel rod gun of the Hunters in Halo: Combat Evolved and those of the Hunters in Halo 2 and Halo 3.
