Guerilla
Guerilla is a Halo 3 Meta-Game Achievement.
Requirements
It is earned when the player earns 15,000 points while playing the meta-game on Sierra 117. This Achievement gives 10 Gamerpoints to the player.
Background
It is represented by a blue circle with a gorilla face in it.
The actual term "guerilla" comes from the spanish "guerra" and means, "small war". Guerilla is referred to in this instance by the humans fighting in captured Covenant territory, behind enemy lines. There may be an additional play on words: guerilla sounds like "gorilla", a reference to the Brutes, but the title most likely refers to Master Chief.
Trivia
- The software used by bungie to edit the map tags: Guerilla.
- The game industry Guerilla, who made the Killzone games (meant to be a halo killer for the PS2) which also gave Bungie the idea for the EOD Armor.
