"Smart" AIs are AIs that have no limitations in their dynamic memory-processor matrix. In other words, "smart" AIs can learn and adapt at unchecked levels growing ever-smarter, while "dumb" AIs, while experts in the fields they have been programmed in, cannot learn new data.[1]
Lifespan
Due to its unusual nature, "smart" AI have a very limited lifespan. After a period of about seven years, "smart" AI will start processing so much that they can no longer function under normal parameters, such as a human thinking so much that their brain stops sending signals to the heart and lungs. In the end, the AI would literally 'think' itself to death.
It should be noted that later generations of "smart" AI have longer lifespans. One example of this is the "smart" AI, Deep Winter.
Known "Smart" AIs
- Cortana, 3rd Generation
- Eternal Spring
- Endless Summer
- Deep Winter, 5th Generation
