Lister[1] was a United Nations Space Command city in the country of Aigburth on the moon of Ganymede.
The SPARTAN EVA Armor was tested in Lister.
Trivia
- Lister may be a reference to the British sci-fi comedy Red Dwarf, in which a human named David Lister comes from Aigburth, which is a real place in part of Liverpool. Additionally, one of David's adventures aboard Red Dwarf takes him to a colony on the moon of Ganymede.
- The city may be named for British surgeon Joesph Lister, the first advocate of sterile surgical environments.
- The British ties also suggest that the founders were of English descent.
