It is awarded for destroying an enemy vehicle with equipment (e.g. a Trip Mine) in a ranked playlist or in campaign(Use a tank on the level Covenant with the tank, if you are lucky to get three or more Brutes in a Prowler). Its impossible to get it in a ranked playlist with a mine since it doesn't spawn in any map naturally except Sandtrap which is a Social Playlist.
