Halo (Halo 3 level)

Return is believed to be the ninth and final campaign mission of Halo 3 and is the last level in the Halo Trilogy.

It takes place in an unidentified Halo ring.

Template:Conjecturalization It may be so named because of the return of the Forerunners to the galaxy, although this is speculative.

Another highly speculative theory could be that, according to a reclaimer theory and a line from 343 Guilty Spark, "Why would you hesitate to do what you have already done?", the Master Chief travels back in time and is the one to first activate Halo. This would partialy explain the comment on the armor upgrade during Halo: Combat Evolved. However, this quote could be explained away by the fact that 343 GS is insane. But it could also support the Forerunner-Human theory; because Forerunners are the ancestors of humans, they would look similar, and 343 GS mistook the Chief for a Forerunner. Upon completing it on the Normal, Heroic, or Legendary difficulties, the player will earn the "Return" achievement and 50 Gamerpoints.
