This is easier to get with the sniper rifle since you can make rapid shots and the sniper rifle generally has more ammo and because of that u can still make 2 bodyshots to kill some1 and then most likely still get the medal unlike the beam rifle which holds only 10 shots. | |||

Sharpshooter' is a spree medal awarded in Halo 3 Multiplayer for killing (doesn't have to be all headshots) 10 opponents in a row with the Sniper Rifle or Beam Rifle without dying. It is represented by a bronze five-pointed star with green crosshairs. This is easier to get with the sniper rifle since you can make rapid shots and the sniper rifle generally has more ammo and because of that u can still make 2 bodyshots to kill some1 and then most likely still get the medal unlike the beam rifle which holds only 10 shots.
