In Halo 3 Beta currently, there is a special medal awarded for killing an enemy with the Spartan Laser weapon. Due to the Sniper like accuracy it takes to destroy a target with the weapon and the slow but powerful over charge time. When your killed by the Spartan Laser in Halo 3, it says YOU WERE LASERED BY (Oppenant's Name Here)!
This can be combo'd with the Spartan Laser at any time, you can at max in the Halo 3 Beta get a Kill Frenzy with the Spartan Laser weapon.
