The BR55HB SR Battle Rifle is a United Nations Space Command ground firearm.
Introduction
The BR55HB SR Battle Rifle is a variant of the Halo 2-era BR55 Battle Rifle. It is basically the same as the BR55 but has design changes. It is featured in Halo 3, and is a playable weapon in the Halo 3 Beta.
The BR55HB SR Battle Rifle is a burst-fire, gas-operated, mid to long range weapon. It is relatively the same as the Halo 2-era BR55 Battle Rifle, but with some design changes. It still fires the 9.5x40mm ammunition and it still has a scope with a 2x magnification. Description
The BR55 Battle Rifle is a bullpup UNSC rifle. It fires a larger bullet than an assault rifle, giving more power but also more recoil. Because of the difficult handling when firing fully-automatic, the BR55 is restricted to three-round bursts.
The rifle is an excellent all-around weapon. Its biggest problem lies in its magazine size combined with the burst fire, giving only 12 shots before reloading.
