Summary
The Truth and Reconciliation is a Covenant CCS-class battle cruiser that pursued the Pillar of Autumn to Installation 04. When it landed on the Halo, it was boarded by Master Chief and a handful of Marines trying to rescue Captain Keyes who had been previously captured.
Later on, it is taken over by the Flood. The Chief returned to it to attempt to rescue Captain Keyes, who he found had been converted into a Flood organism. After he took the late captain's neural implants with him and took a Banshee to the crashed Pillar of Autumn, Helljumper forces took over the ship. As seen in the novel Halo: The Flood, Major Silva wanted to fly it back to Earth, but it was destroyed by a Helljumper officer, Lieutenant Melissa McKay, who was persuaded by an infected Jenkins, who had no way of knowing the Chief's mission, to stop the Flood from escaping the Halo.
