On the level Uprising, a group of Brutes and Jackals set up an expansive camp to block access to Installation 05's Control Room. This encampment was split into two parts. The first was near a natural bridge over the stream, and was defended by half a dozen Brutes and several Jackals. The Brutes were unprepared for the sudden assault of the Arbiter and his Elites. They fell to the Arbiter's assault, allowing him to move on towards the Control Room.
Description
The primary encampment was a mixture of jungle and Forerunner complex near where the stream fell into a small pond. Though well-defended by nearly twenty Brutes and multiple Jackal Snipers, as well as a pair of Wraiths, the camp eventually fell to the relentless assault of the Arbiter and several reinforcements (including a Zealot Sangheili) (who had arrived via Orbital Insertion Pod), thus allowing him access to the beach were the Control Room was located.
Armory
The Brutes also set up a small "armory" in a room/hallway halfway through the encampment, consisting of usual Covenant weapons; a Fuel Rod, Beam Rifles, Covenant Carbines, Brute Plasma Rifles, and captured Human weapons including Shotguns, a Rocket Launcher, helmets, and some frag grenades. The Rocket Launcher and Fuel Rod Cannon proved to be helpful in the Arbiters assault, neutralizing Brute controlled Wraiths and ghosts.
Trivia
- On legendary difficulty, sometimes a Brute Honor Guard will come out of the armory.
