Murphy was an ODST, present for the Battle of Reach and the following Battle of Installation 04. He was the driver of Lieutenant McKay's Warthog on the way back to Alpha Base after the successful supply raid on the Pillar of Autumn. During intense fighting, he embarrassingly urinated on himself, but managed to drive the Warthog to safety.[1] He was probably killed when Installation 04 was destroyed.
