This marine strike team was professionally murdered by Stealth Elites armed with Energy Swords once separated from SPARTAN-117. However, from Cortana's reports, the marines gave a good fight against their attackers, as Master Chief came across several Covenant Elite corpses, ridden with bullet holes. Fire Team Charlie did not die in vain: Captain Jacob Keyes was freed from his Covenant prison cell by the Master Chief. The victims of the Infection Forms were either killed by Johnson during his flee from the weapons cache, destroyed by SPARTAN-117 during his escape from the facility, defeated by McKay's ODST Platoon, destroyed aboard the Infinite Succor, or were killed during the destruction of Halo.

Trivia
- Interestingly, though it is not known if really related, the first letters (or 'initials') of "Fire Team Charlie" (FTC) are the reverse of the 'initials' for the incredibly popular gametype, "Capture the Flag" (CTF).
- Strangely, Chips Dubbo was the only survivor of Fire Team Charlie from the weapons cache mission. He was either lucky to have survived or did not participate in the mission.
