Spartan-III Alpha Company was the first company of SPARTAN-IIIs.
Summary
They were trained at Camp Currahee on Onyx by Lieutenant Commander Kurt Ambrose, a SPARTAN-II, on December 27, 2531. There were 497 of them recruited as four, five, and six year olds orphaned by Covenant attacks on various colonies including Jericho VII, Harvest, and Biko. They went active in November of 2536. Every single one of them died during Operation: PROMETHEUS, but halted a massive Covenant shipyard in the process.
