Team Katana was a SPARTAN-III team competing in a challenge for high honors.[1] The team contained fuve spartans but the names haven't been revealed at the moment. During the Battle of Onyx the team was captured and placed in the Forerunner equivalent of a Cryo-tube.[2] As of yet Katana has not been unfrozen as they have been placed inside The Sharpened Shield with a number of other Spartans, Doctor Halsey and SCPO Mendez, who have no idea how to get them out.
