Covenant:

  • Other Ground forces
  • 36 Covenant destroyers and cruisers.

Order of Battle

The Covenant came to Jericho VII and battled UNSC forces above the planet for three days in a long stalemate.

Meanwhile, on the ground, Blue Team Blue-One-Spartan-117, Blue-Two-Spartan-087, Blue-Three-Spartan-104, Blue-Four-Spartan-043, and Blue-Five-Spartan-058 massacre the Covenant forces. Blue Team's mission was to draw out the Covenant rear guard, so Red Team could slip through and plant a HAVOK tactical nuke for the next Covenant ship that landed. Several Spartans are able to kill hundreds of Grunts with little difficulty, and destroy their Banshee air support quickly.

The Marines, operating elsewhere, suffered little casualties and easily accomplished their goals too. The 105th Drop Jet Platoon were massacred by the 1,000 Grunts on the ground, all Spartan teams accomplish their missions and return to the fleet in a Pelican dropship.

Unfortunately, in space, the UNSC lost after three days. Captain De Blanc brings the Spartans home, but Spartan-117 has a special request: He wants to watch the planet get glassed and watches for an hour.
