History
In 2552, Coral Sea saw action at the Battle of Earth and the Battle of Mombasa. She, the UNSC Dusk, UNSC Paris and UNSC Redoubtable were the only ships fast enough to be able to pursue the UNSC In Amber Clad and the High Prophet of Regret's Assault Carrier into Slipspace.
Coral Sea quickly outran the Dusk during the chase and her current status is unknown. It may have passed Installation 05 completely.
Background
- The Battle of the Coral Sea [1] took place during World War II. It was a major sea battle that resulted in the loss a of US navy aircraft carrier, the USS Lexington, but the Japanese abandonment of their invasion of New Guinea was a victory.
