Far Isle was a UNSC colony world. In 2492, there was a massive rebellion on the colony world and the UNSC was unable to control it at all. Thus, they declared a code Bandersnatch and used nuclear weapons to destroy the colony[1]. This resulted in the killing of all the inhabitants on it.
