The '''Spike Grenade''' (incorrectly translated as the '''Nail Grenade''') is a weapon introduced in [[Halo 3]]. When it detonates, it shoots a cone of spikes in one direction. Like the [[Plasma Grenade]], the Spike Grenade sticks to the surface it lands on. Unlike the Plasma Grenade, it can stick on walls and floors, (possibly because of the spikes) rather than just enemies. This means the bounce tecnique cannot be used. <ref>http://forums.xbox.com/7661336/ShowPost.aspx</ref>

The Spike Grenade appears to be similar in shape to ''Stielhandgranate'' the Germans used in WW2. It has four big curved spike on top of the grenade, and a number of smaller ones around the shaft of the grenade.
