::Never mind, I did the glitch. It's true. The scenery part is that you will always go through it. You have to time your jump ''just'' right, and you will be in the troop bay. If you did it right, the Pelican will become solid, and you can stay in it. There is a barrier that keeps you from falling out, however (because it was used to keep you ''out''). I don't think it should be merged with Death While Riding A Pelican because sometimes, you don't die while riding the Pelican. The times when I rode in a Pelican, I didn't die. Except when I said screw it, and jumped out. [[User talk:Jackass2009|Jackass2009]] 03:02, August 19, 2010 (UTC)

is the flying the pelican thing really credable? ive tried tons of time, and i havent even gotten close to the cock pit. maybe a video?

Theres a video there, and I have done it several times myself. This article needs to be re-written, it reads like someone is telling me how to do it, and not like an encylopedia entry.--JohnSpartan117 23:36, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

Ok, I fixed some parts of the article, but it still needs some cleanup.

what level is this on?

metropolis and its not flyable without mods[[user:the evilO,malley

I did this with the instructions, prety cool!

I rode the metropolis Pelican a lot, each time hoping to fly it, but when it lands, there's an invisible barrier inside it preventing you from reaching the pilot's seat. Darthmasterchief 21:27, 27 February 2008 (UTC)

343 Guilty Spark Pelican Ride

I added a section detailing the Pelican Ride on 343 Guilty Spark, and I have done this myself so please do not remove. == SPARTAN-019 08:25, 4 August 2007 (UTC)

Crow's Nest, Hangar Pelican

Can objects change from being scenery to being vehicles? And how do we know that's what happens to the Pelican? I marked it with Citation Needed; I may try out the glitch sometime; if I do, I'll take screenshots if possible. DavidJCobb Emblem.svg DavidJCobb  13:06, 3 August 2009 (UTC)

Who put it there anyways? I plan on asking the person who put it there to find out. If he ignores, I plan on deleting it.--Shade 19:43, August 9, 2010 (UTC)
Never mind, I did the glitch. It's true. The scenery part is that you will always go through it. You have to time your jump just right, and you will be in the troop bay. If you did it right, the Pelican will become solid, and you can stay in it. There is a barrier that keeps you from falling out, however (because it was used to keep you out). Once the Pelican picks up the marines, you need to kill the last marine coming, so the game thinks you are not in it. It will then fly out of the hangar, but will disappear after a few seconds, and you will die.--Shade 12:48, August 19, 2010 (UTC)
