Template:Rank Infobox Commander is a commissioned officer rank of the UNSC Navy, equal in rank to Lieutenant Colonel in the UNSC Marine Corps.
Commanders typically serve as the executive officer (XO) (second in command) of a single ship, however, they may also command a single ship.
